Stuart Alexander & Co. Pty Ltd was founded in 1884 as merchants and importers of
tobacco. Over the years, the company has also enjoyed success in securing important
confectionery agencies such as Stimorol, Mentos, Guylain, Werther's, Meller, Ricola
and, more recently, the locally manufactured Ernest Hillier chocolates.
Stuart Alexander continues to drive these popular brands within the route trade,
supporting them with media advertising, consumer promotions, and in-store point-of-sale
materials.

Snack Brands Australia is proud to be an Australian-owned company, and a local manufacturer of
snack products. The company's extensive range of power snack-food brands includes Thins,
Samboy, Cheezels, CC's and French Fries. It's not surprising then, that Snack Brands Australia
held a market share of approximately 27% of a retail market valued at around AUD$750 million in 1998.
